The system
Does every pocket module fit every hat and every bag?
Yes. Every hat and every bag carries the same VL-25 rail (25 mm webbing with a loop every 25 mm), and every pocket module has two V-Clips that fit it. The larger modules (Twin Zip Pocket, Zip Pocket M) sit best on a bag or on the Twin-Rail Bucket.
How do I move a module from my hat to my bag?
Open the two press studs on the back of the module, slide both V-Clips out of the hat rail, slide them under two loops of the bag rail and press the studs shut. No tools.
What do the cords and straps clip to?
Every hat has two 10 mm D-rings on its band and every bag has two at its top corners. Chin cords clip to the hat D-rings; straps and the carry loop clip to the bag D-rings. The Hat Keeper Leash links a hat D-ring to a bag rail.
Is anything included with a hat or a bag?
A bag comes with its strap. Pocket modules, cords, extra straps and gaiters are sold separately — the “In the box” list on each product page shows exactly what you receive.
Sizes and materials
Which hat size do I need?
Measure around your head just above the ears. S/M fits 55–57 cm, L/XL fits 58–60 cm. Most hats also have a drawcord size adjuster inside the back. See the Size guide.
Are the hats or bags waterproof?
We do not make waterproof or weather-protection claims for any product. Each product page lists the fabric so you can decide what it suits.
How do I clean them?
Care instructions are on every product page. In short: remove modules and cords first, spot clean or hand wash cold, and dry flat or in the air. Gaiters can be machine washed cold.
Prices, currency and payment
Which currency will I pay in?
You pay in the currency of your delivery country: USD (United States, Canada), GBP (United Kingdom), EUR (eurozone countries we deliver to), DKK (Denmark) or SEK (Sweden). You can switch the display currency with the language and currency button at the top of every page; at checkout, the price switches to the currency of the delivery country you enter.
Which payment methods do you accept?
The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by PCI DSS compliant payment providers over an encrypted connection; we never see or store your full card number. Your statement will show VALEVYN.
Do you have discount codes or sales?
No. We do not run promotions or discount codes; the price you see is the price.
Delivery and returns
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
One flat rate per order in each currency, with estimated delivery times per country, is on our Shipping page.
Can I return something?
Yes — within 30 days of delivery for unused items, and you also have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. See Returns & Refunds, or use Withdraw from contract here.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until it has been dispatched. Email us with your order number or use the withdrawal form.
